It's Not the End of the World!

Yesterday, I found Emma doing something that Rhonda had asked her not to do (which was to write her own name on the side of her new backpack). I felt bad for Emma and in my effort to console her I said "Don't worry, it's not the end of the world!"

As soon as I said it I laughed as myself and thought "I need to come up with a new expression!".

What I was saying was this - what you did was not a good thing to do, but in the end it will be OK. But what I was also implying was that the end of the world was not a good thing but in the end it would all be OK!

The truth is that God's leadership is perfect, and His end time plan, with all of it's fire, hail, desolation and judgments is the perfect way to bring Jesus back to the earth to rule and to reign. It is the manifestation of His goodness, mercy and love. I am actually quite excited about the end of the world and the doing away of sin, disease and suffering.

So I have decided that I need to find a new expression to replace "It's not the end of the world!" and I am open to your suggestions.

Jon
